Theatrical release

The release of the new TENET movies has been pushed two weeks further to the 31st of July from the 17th of July due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The movie is produced by Warner Brothers and two other franchises Wonder Woman and Matrix produced by them were also been pushed further with their releases to ensure to minimize the effect of this pandemic on these huge franchises.

If we are to see this pandemic continues further in the coming weeks, especially in the USA would Warner Brothers release the movie to VOD platforms?

We saw this happened to the Scoob! 2020 but for TENET it's Highly unlikely to happen because Nolan's movies are best experienced in theatres like IMAX. So the chance of Nolan letting the movie released into the VOD platforms is very lean.
Since the Warner Bros have promised the Tenet movie release on 17th July and now, they can’t release its due to this pandemic they have decided to re-release Inception to the theatres for the 10th anniversary of that movie and one of the first Nolan's movie to break into the blockbuster.

Plot of TENET

The movie is about a secret agent who’s using time inversion (we are not sure about this) to stop the occurring of World War III. John David Washington is starring as a secret agent while Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, and many other stars starring in the movie. When the GQ magazines mentioned Robert Pattinson as a time traveler in the movie Pattinson came out and refuse that fact about him and he said he’s only allowed to say that “He’s not a time traveler and there’s no time-traveling involved in the movie.”

But with Nolan’s History of movies and the majority of them based on the time-traveling scenes, it is very hard to refuse the fact that this movie has nothing to do with time traveling. I think Nolan going include some time-traveling bits in this movie as well because even they have given clues in the trailer. So we will see what happens and hope the movie is exciting and a blockbuster as the previous franchises by Nolan.

Thank You!

I know this is a very bad use of the word "prequel" since this is an article but I am too excited for this movie charging up binge-watching all Nolan's movies readying to see this but keep getting disappointed with the news of postponing the release.
